08 — Next Steps (v2)

Status: Stub. Concrete, dated, owned. Replaces the original’s §9 “Immediate Next Steps.”

Format

Each next step gets:

• A clear owner
• A clear deliverable
• A target date
• A dependency note if applicable

Avoid the original’s “Both practitioners obtain X” framing — assigns responsibility to no-one.

Pre-pilot (April–June 2026)

To be filled in after conversation with James. Likely items:

• Practitioner agreement. Owner: James (with legal advice). Deliverable: signed agreement covering scope, IP, dispute resolution, continuity. Target: end May.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check. Owner: James (NT) and Adrian (TAS). Deliverable: clearance certificates. Target: end May.
• Working with Children Checks. Owner: same. Deliverable: state-specific clearances. Target: end May.
• Professional indemnity insurance. Owner: James lead, Adrian coordinated. Deliverable: bound policies that recognise the contractor structure and AI deployment. Target: mid-June.
• Service agreement template. Owner: James (with NDIS-aware adviser). Deliverable: plain-language template. Target: mid-June.
• Eligibility/claimability matrix. Owner: Adrian and James jointly. Deliverable: line-item-mapped service catalogue. Target: end June.
• Privacy/data handling system. Owner: Adrian (technical lead). Deliverable: documented system with paid lawyer review. Target: end June.
• Safeguarding appendix. Owner: Adrian (technical lead) + James (operational input). Deliverable: appendix to v2 plan. Target: end June.
• SPARK deployment model decision. Owner: Adrian. Deliverable: documented decision (Model A/B/C from 06-spark-deployment-model.md). Target: mid-May.

Pilot launch (July 2026)

• Recruit 3–4 pilot participants through James’s network
• First pilot engagement begins
• Documentation cadence established (weekly internal review)

Pilot review (October 2026)

• Pilot retrospective — honest assessment of model, hours, outcomes
• Decision point: continue, modify, wind down
